Spring flowers

I really really really like flowers. I can't help it. They're just so darn beautiful! My goal was to buy some new curtains for the kitchen and the two requirements were coloured and patterned...well I bought white ones and the pattern is...you guessed it...flowers! I got them at IKEA when we were there in February (they're called RENATE LJUV). Here's a close-up pic:

I love them! The only problem is they are close to a foot too long and I haven't hemmed them. I've sort of been avoiding it because I'm worried I will wreck them! I will do it one day and I'll keep you posted on how they turn out.

So since I didn't get coloured curtains, I wanted to add some colour in my kitchen/dining room since it was all white, chocolate brown, and silver. When my grandma was visiting in December, she said something like "I think you just need a little bit of colour in here". I told her I had been going for the white look but I did have to agree with her!!!

So I was out shopping a while ago and picked up a table runner. I love that it's so bright and springy...and surprise...it's flowery!

Kinda psychedelic but I like it!
